Lil Wayne and The Roots will headline this year’s Roots Picnic, with a set celebrating New Orleans featuring Trombone Shorty, PJ Morton, and more.
Other acts on top of the bill include Nas, Gunna, Victoria Monet and “Jilly from Philly” herself, Jill Scott. The bill also promises a J. Period Live Mixtape featuring Black Thought, Method Man and Redman, the Adam Blackstone Legacy Experience with Fantasia and Muni Long, and Baller Alert: Go-Go Backyard Band with Scarface and Amerie. Plus, a special performance from Andre 3000 of his new album, New Blue Sun. The lineup also features Sexyy Red, Babyface, Wale, Tyla, Cam’ron, Smino and Marsha Ambrosias.
