MEEK MILL: New Music Speaks on Injustice

TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • Before Meek went away, he teased that he'd be retiring ultra-violent lyrics to speak on real issues.
  • Meek's using his platform to spotlight injustice, just like he promised.
  • While he was locked up, Meek and Colin both pledged $10,000 to Philadelphia’s Youth Service Inc.

Meek previewed a new track for Page Six, and it included lyrics like, “They won’t lynch him by hanging from a tree. They lynch his bank account.” Meek also talks about how most of Kaep’s teammates failed to support him. He then rhymes, “Back in the ‘30s you would be killed if you kneeled/ They won’t kill you now, they just take you out the deal.”

The rapper and the football player-turned-activist spoke on the phone back when Meek was incarcerated.

The topical track will reportedly be featured on Meek’s next album. (TMZ)
