6ix9ine Hits The Streets After House Arrest Release In 'Punani' Video

Tekashi 6ix9ine celebrated his release from house arrest with a new song.

Tekashi is back to his old flashy ways as he takes to the streets of Brooklyn in the music video for his latest record, “Punani.” The controversial rapper, who wasted no time dropping new music fresh off his infamous early prison release a few months ago, returned with a wild video that finds the 24-year-old whipping doughnuts, riding atop of a Lambo down a bridge, and flashing wads of cash while flossing with his posse.

“N—s act dumb when I act dumb-dumb/ Tell 'em don't act dumb 'cause I'm dumber/ How many shots could a nigga duck-duck?/ Tell 'em duck down 'fore he get boomed,” the rainbow-haired emcee brags on the uptempo, bass-banging production as he raps in the catchy chorus, “Fat punani-nani, fat punani-nani/ That tsunami-nami, that tsunami-nami.”

Taking to Instagram to celebrate his house arrest release, Tekashi boasted, "IM FREE !! WHO SAID WE AINT OUTSIDEEEEEE ... BROOKLYN THIS MY TOWN NEW YORK THIS MY CITYYYY YOU HEAR ME!?!?! KING OF F—ING NEW YORK YA COULD NEVA DO WHAT I DID AND BE OUTSIDE DUMMY!"

Even while being locked down, Tekashi was still dropping bangers from home. During that time, he released a music video for his first jam since being released from prison, titled “Gooba,” which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 when it premiered in May. He followed the track by recruiting longtime collaborator Nicki Minaj for their number-one record, “Trollz,” in June, and then released “Yaya” in July.
