Kodak Black is being praised for his charitable efforts after he helped dozens of residents pay their rent for two months straight.

On Saturday, April 12, Vince Thompson of Pompano Beach, Fla. took to Facebook to thank the "Tunnel Vision" rapper for covering rent payments for 200 residents at the Golden Acres housing projects.

"He may not want the limelight but for the 2nd month straight @kodakblack has paid the rent for over 200 residents in Golden Acres the entire projects!" Thompson wrote. "A lot of people shine light on the negativity. Imma see how many people share the positive things you do fam. You’re A Blessing to a lot of people. Thank you!!🙏🏾"

This isn't the first time 'Yak has offered to pay rent for struggling families. In 2022, the multi-platinum-selling artist helped out 28 families who were facing eviction.

“28 Families Was Bout To Get Evicted For Being Behind On Their Rent A Few Months,” Kodak said at the time. “I Paid What They Owed And Also Paid Their Rents For The Next Few Months So They Good For The Remaining Of The Year.”

The Florida native, who grew up in Pompano Beach, has become well-known for his charity work. After he was granted a pardon from President Donald Trump in 2021, Kodak Black dedicated time to giving back to his community by providing free air conditioner units to those in need, giving away turkeys to families on Thanksgiving and donating $10,000 to the Jack and Jill Children's Center — a non-profit organization for early childhood education.

Salute to Kodak Black for never hesitating to help out his community.
